update image

When we study sociology, one of the most important thinkers is Karl Marx. His idea of class conflict helps us understand how society works, especially in terms of inequality and power. What is Class Conflict? Class conflict is a concept given by Karl Marx which explains that society is divided into different classes and these classes are always in struggle with each other. In simple words: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Rich vs Poor ๐Ÿ‘‰ Powerful vs Workers This struggle happens because both groups have different interests. Main Classes According to Karl Marx Marx divided society mainly into two classes: Bourgeoisie (Upper Class) These are the rich people They own factories, companies, and resources They control money and power Proletariat (Working Class) These are workers or laborers They sell their labor to earn money They do not own resources ๐Ÿ‘‰ The problem is: The bourgeoisie earn profit by exploiting the proletariat. Why Does Class Conflict Happen? Class conflict happens because: Workers are paid less than the value of their work Owners want more profit Workers want better wages and conditions So, both classes have opposite goals. Example in Simple Words Imagine a factory: Workers work 10 hours daily They get โ‚น500 per day But the factory earns โ‚น5000 from their work ๐Ÿ‘‰ The extra money goes to the owner ๐Ÿ‘‰ This creates inequality and conflict Marxโ€™s Idea of Revolution Karl Marx believed that one day: Workers will become aware of exploitation They will unite together They will fight against the rich class This is called a working-class revolution Class Conflict in Todayโ€™s India Even today, we can see class conflict in India: Rich corporates vs daily wage workers Farmers protesting for fair prices Employees demanding better salaries ๐Ÿ‘‰ This shows Marxโ€™s theory is still relevant. Importance of Class Conflict in Sociology Class conflict helps us understand: Social inequality Economic differences Power distribution Social change It is one of the most important concepts in sociology. Conclusion In easy terms, class conflict is the struggle between rich and poor. Karl Marx used this idea to explain how society changes over time. ๐Ÿ‘‰ His theory teaches us that inequality is not natural, it is created by systems of power.
